KL Penguins participated in Der Pacemaker 3rd Anniversary Relay Run

Many thanks to der pacemakers for inviting KL Penguins to be part of their
3rd Anniversary Run which was held on Sept 23rd at Tasik Perdana.

It was an intense race with 18 teams took part which saw the winner from Klang
Pacemakers emerge as champion whilst the KL Penguins came 13th placed.

Tho’ we tried our very best to be among top 10 but it was a close finished…
As usual the KL Penguins will waddle all the way with Chong started as the 1st runner sprinting the 2.3km in 9 mins 10secs… and handed the baton to me…. Wah lah weh.. running a 2.3km fast not easy as you need to pace yourself.

Lee quickly took the baton from me and started to chase the runners infront, 10 minutes later he came back and pass to the anchored man Khee Meng.

Khee Meng have run for his life as behind him was a lady from the team mid life runner was chasing him all the way… in order not to ‘malu’ the last 50 meters he ran as fast as he could….

Total time completed by the team is about 41mins.
