Look like it going to be a yearly pligrimage for me to climb Mt KK.

Got request to lead a group to Mt KK next year, so those who keen pls, let me know as u booking only 20 rooms.

Got 'saman' in Siemen 10km run..

Aiyoo encik tolong lah lebih 5 km saje.... speed limit 30km at Jln TAR...bagi sikit chance lah

Siemens 10km Run

Woke up body aching due to Inter Merchant Games Tug of War on Sat at padang merbok..

Was informed by colleagues that my name was in the tug of war team as part of the Inter Merchant Athlectics Meet (next weekend at MayBan Trianing Ctr).

So i told him ok lah since no training and expected to kena sayur the 1st round, but didn't teh team reach semi finals and eventually lost to teh defending champion AMBank.

Didn't realise that the team can go thru' hmm it the determination & spirit as we just go for fun but today .. aiyoooo

anyway.. did 60mins in the 10km.. for the 1st 6km struggling but just after that just relax on the run.

Next week, the BHP orange run,. Today Mich Looi did well be finishing 8th in the ladies Open and got cash prize with the time 50:45 as next week she & Tomatoman will be at the Tri ..

Gunung Nuang Training for Mt KK

8am at the gate

Last Sat., at Gunung Nuang, Park Office, 10 climbathoners for the Mt KK challenge did a 4 hrs run to Camp Pacat & back..
To reach Camp Pacat in 2hrs and back to the park office in 2 hrs also.
Its their 1st time running and unsure whether 2 hrs is sufficient to reach camp pacat. Todl them normal walking will take 3 hrs non stop therefore its possible to reach there.

Result : Yes 2hrs to Camp Pacat no problemo and got extra time.

Next training will be 2hrs 30mins target 'False' Peak.

Its durians, mangosteens & rambutans at Gng Nuang so next training after the run.. durian feast .. carbo load after the run...

Target by Sept, 31/2hrs to Gng Nuang Peak

Relax before the race

The Don't Play Play Team is a mixed team for the eco x series adventure race at Batu Dam organised by Nomad Adventure.

The team entered the X-Challenge ie to race with the students as we are the 'mature' students.

the event are River crossing, Kayaking, Road Running, Jungle Trekking via Caves and Rock Climbing

Lai Kuan, Nurul, Soo Lan, Carina and me met on sat for skills test on abseiling & kayaking as its part of the requirements before the race on sunday.

On Sunday the race started at 8.15am and we finished at 3.30pm at Damai, it was raining heavily in the morning and the jungle trekking was really slippery & risky as not careful one can get injured.

Its was really a fun and enjoyable race and was glad that the team remain focus and wait for each other .. in the end all end well.

Next race... Newton 25km but the angel will be going to Gunung Tahan 1st week of August. Unable to go due to work commitment.
