Mt KK - April 23 - 26, 2012

Next Tuesday, Leng and myself will be going to Mt KK with SP Setia Group as part of their team building.

This is the 2nd group as the 1st group went last month and Leng was with them.

This coming Monday will be briefing the climbers and also a Yoga instructor will be their to advise on breathing technique ..

We manage to the Mt Guides who have been with me for the last 24 climbs, and it will be much easier as these guides know how my operations works in the climb.

Hope weather will be kind to the group.

Yesterday at 2pm, Raymond called and informed that Cheah Mei Mei passed away and indeed was saddened to hear the news.

She won the Pulau Perhentian Challenge last Sat and Salomon Run 2 weeks ago.

What was the cause of her death, according to Ray, her liver was inflamed and heart failure.

To Mei Mei - RIP,

Bkt Tabur 2 - Oct 13th

Last sat. met Susie, Kelly, Jason, Sim, Vince, Kristy, Trina, Geannie, Bong, KH, Leo and some of Trina friends to hike Mt KK...

Weather was cool as it was raining heavily the previous day and i thot the ground was slippery.

Kelly, Jason and the rest started 20 mins earlier and met them at the foothill of the last hill to the peak.. ..

Bong, KH and Susie been to T2 twice and yet to hike to the peak, so for the 3rd time i told them that i going to the peak as part of my training for Mt KK during the Hari Raja Haji Week with SP Setia Group and number of paxs - 40..

As i was going up the hills the development at KL have been rampant and the hills which i use to see all 'botak' with houses..... and the development now are moving innner into the greens lungs...

With the tragedy of the Highlands Towers and also landslide at the Bukit Antarabangsa... look like if no controlled, one day another incidents will happen.

Anyway,  now at the entrance at Bkt Tabur, a notice board been put up, " Tidak Di Benarkan Masuk" tanpa kebenaran. -

Bkt Tabur 2 - Tmn Melawati

Last week on sat at Gng Bunga Buah, weather was cool from morning till 4pm than its started to rain and the trek was slippery esp the last part descending to the farm.

Anyway this sat will be hking Bkt Tabur 2, Tmn Melawati. Meeting withTrina and gnad at the BHP Petrol station at 7.15am

This is part of my training for my 25th KK hike end of this month with the SP Setia group.

Leng and Me will be leading them to the Mt KK..

This Sat is NIKE KL 10km run, won't be running as be attending friend's wedding dinner.

OCt 28th is the Back to BAsic Run at Padang Merbok it 30km run organized by PACM and m one of the organizer of the run and teh follwing week will be doing the Powerman race where i be cycling 64km and Rustam will be running .

Gunung Bunga Buah - Goh Tong Jaya

This saturday , will taking group of 40 paxs to GGB for training in view of Mt KK hike end of Oct.

Leng and me will be joining them.

If u keen to join the GGB hike, be at Goh Tong Jaya this Sat 7am at 7 - Eleven ...

will take about 6 - 7 hours return hike and be vary of leeches if weather is wet.

The trails is slippery if it rain else a nice anc cool climb but be cautious on the roots.

The rock portion is a nice place to rest, if you dun keen to the peak whih is 45mins away...


If u keen to join me for Mt KK May 30th - June 2, 2013 i got 3 places left will be staying at Laban Rata ...

Kids Podium

Oliver won the Giant Kids Run.. he clocked 2.2 km in 8mins 5 secs

Piper Megan Teoh got 2nd place in the Standard Chartered Run

 

 

 

Oliver  and Piper Megan . 10 and 11 years old currently under my coaching at MPSJ tarck every sunday ....

 

 

Both of them are talented and at this age, it good to see them interest in running..

 

The next race for both of them will be the Desa Park City...

TMBT 2012 Sabah - Sept 15th

 

 

 

Last weekend at Kundangsang  Sabah, about 450 runners took part The Most Beautiful Trail in Sabah 25km/50km/100km.

 

I came but didn't run due to my knee still not recovered and also Dr Pui San who also taking part advised to rest as not to aggravate it further..

 

Aiyoooo seeing the runners whom i train geared up at the staring line up... my legs was itching to go  but have to tahan lar..... as next month i guiding a group to Mt KK which is more leisure pace as compared to the TMBT race.

 

M gald that all the trainees that train with me came back within the cut off time and also safe ann sound but exhausted...

 

anyway will post further news....
